Justin Bieber Isn't Attending Grammys 2021 After Calling His Nominations 'Weird'

Justin Bieber is not attending the 2021 Grammys.

The 27-year-old Changes star will not be attending this year’s ceremony on Sunday (March 14) because he’s not performing, Page Six reported.

His decision not to attend the show comes after he spoke out about the Recording Academy’s “weird” decision to put his album Changes in the pop category rather than R&B as intended.

“I am flattered to be acknowledged and appreciated for my artistry. I am very meticulous and intentional about my music. With that being said, I set out to make an R&B album. Changes was and is an R&B album. It is not being acknowledged as an R&B album, which is very strange to me,” he said at the time.
