Quavo recalled how his Migos bandmate Takeoff got his name by getting all his verses recorded in one take.

“Moviemaker you had to record in one pass,” he said of their early recording days. “Anybody who messed up on one ad lib or anything and we had to start it all the way over. And that’s how Takeoff got ‘one take’, because he’d do his whole verse and not mess up and we’d mess up and have to start him over.”

He also opened up about his film debut in Wash Me in the River, a thriller starring Jack Houston, Robert De Niro and John Malkovich and did his best impression of De Niro‘s response to being name checked in the lyrics to “Straightenin.’”

Unfortunately the rapper’s time on the show was cut short after he tried the infamous Da Bomb hot sauce and had to tap out. Check out the full clip below!
