Kristen Bell Joins Ben Platt & Allison Janney in Upcoming Comedy 'People We Hate At The Wedding'

Kristen Bell is the latest star to be cast in Amazon’s new movie!

The 40-year-old actress has signed on to star in the upcoming comedy The People We Hate at the Wedding alongside Ben Platt and Allison Janney, THR reports.

Adapted from the novel by Grant Grander, The People We Hate at the Wedding “centers on a pair of struggling American siblings, Alice (Bell) and Paul (Platt), who reluctantly agree to attend the wedding of their estranged, wealthy half-sister in the English countryside alongside their mother, Donna (Janney). Over the course of the wedding week, the family’s many skeletons are wrenched from the closet, and the unlikely reunion gives everyone the motivation to move their own lives forward.”

Claire Scanlon will direct the movie, with a script by Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux.

Back in March, it was announced that this Emmy-winning actress will also be appearing in the upcoming movie.

The People We Hate at the Wedding is scheduled to begin shooting this fall in London.
