Sandra Oh Says It Was a 'Privilege' to Star on 'Grey's Anatomy'

Sandra Oh is reflecting on her time on Grey’s Anatomy.

While promoting her new Netflix series The Chair, the 50-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress opened up about her time on the long-running ABC series and explained why she doesn’t plan on reprising her role as Dr. Cristina Yang.

“It’s really a time in my past,” Sandra shared with E!’s Daily Pop. “Also, [I'm] fully understanding the deep relationship that people have with Cristina, you know what I mean? I was just speaking about, during the pandemic, I think a lot of people re-watched Grey’s because it is such a friend. It’s a great privilege to have been on a show like that.”

Sandra‘s latest comments come after she previously said that she won’t come back to the show, explaining how she’s “moved on” from that chapter in her life.
