Shawn Mendes Drops 'Summer of Love' Song - Read Lyrics & Watch the Beach-Set Video

Shawn Mendes has released his new single “Summer of Love” and you can watch the beach-set video right here!

The 23-year-old singer filmed the video just a couple weeks ago while on a trip to Spain with his friends. He shared some super hot shirtless photos from the beach day.

“Summer of Love,” a song he made with Tainy, will seemingly be the lead single off Shawn‘s highly anticipated fifth studio album.

“It was the summer of love / A delicate daydream / And for a couple of months / It felt like we were 18, yeah / It was the summer of / La-la-love / La-la-love, yeah / It was the summer of / La-la-love / La-la-love,” Shawn sings in the chorus of the song.

In a statement, Shawn said, “I hope this song makes people feel free, free from the weight of life, even if just for a moment. The inspiration was getting a few months off to have a real summer with the people I love. My favorite part about creating it was getting the opportunity to work in the studio with Tainy. It was a special experience connecting with him since he’s such an incredible artist and amazing producer.”
