Official Title for 'Downton Abbey' Sequel Movie Revealed

Focus Features has revealed the official title for the upcoming Downton Abbey sequel movie!

Some new details about the movie were revealed during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation on Wednesday afternoon (August 25). The annual event is where movie theater owners from around the country come together to learn about the upcoming movies that are on the horizon.

The official title of the film will be Downton Abbey: A New Era.

The film will be released in the United States on March 18, 2022 and the international date has yet to be announced.

The entire Downton cast is back for the sequel along with new additions Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, and Dominic West.

We also learned the title of another big movie at the CinemaCon event.
