'Drag Race' Stars RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Symone & Gottmik Attend Emmys 2021

RuPaul’s Drag Race is being represented at the Emmys!

Host RuPaul, judge Michelle Visage, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 winner Symone and finalist Gottmik posed together on the red carpet at the 2021 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 19) at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is having an incredible run at the Emmys: RuPaul won for host of a reality or competition program for a sixth consecutive time during the 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, and the show won for casting for a reality TV program, as well as picture editing, and directing a reality program, which it also won in 2018. RuPaul’s Drag Race Untucked also won for unstructured reality for the first time.

If RuPaul‘s show wins an Emmy during the evening’s ceremony, it will tie with The Voice as the second-most honored series in the competition program category. (Only The Amazing Race has more.)

The Emmys ceremony this year is being hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and the show will be broadcast on CBS and the Paramount+ streaming service. The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out last weekend and the full winners list has already been announced for those awards!
