Taron Egerton & Jonathan Bailey to Play a Couple in West End Play 'Cock'

Taron Egerton and Jonathan Bailey are set to star in the upcoming play Cock in London!

The play will open at the Ambassadors Theatre on March 5, 2022 and it will have a limited run through June 5, 2022.

The West End play “follows a gay couple whose relationship is called into question when John (Bailey) takes a break from his boyfriend (Egerton). While on a break, John meets the girl of his dreams, and must decide what path to take sexually,” according to LondonTheatre.co.uk.

Jade Anouka will play W, the new girlfriend, and the cast will be rounded out by Phil Daniels. The news was revealed by Daily Mail‘s entertainment columnist Baz Bamigboye.

Both of the stars have performed on London’s West End in the past and Jonathan even won an Olivier Award a few years ago for his performance in the musical Company. He currently is best known for playing Anthony Bridgerton in the Netflix series Bridgerton.

Taron is the Golden Globe-winning star of Rocketman and he previously has appeared in the stage plays The Last of the Houssmans and No Quarter.
