Brooklyn Beckham Talks About the Delayed Reaction He Got After Proposing to Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham is opening up about how he proposed to fiancee Nicola Peltz and how she gave him a very-delayed reaction when he popped the question.

The 22-year-old budding chef, who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham, currently has a new Instagram cooking show called Cookin’ With Beckham.

In the latest episode, Brooklyn talked about the proposal.

“Over a year ago now. I got like a bunch of flowers and candles. I got down on one knee and got the ring out and she didn’t have a clue what I was doing,” he said. “She just started crying her eyes out, but she didn’t say yes for like five minutes. I was sweating like ‘oh no,’ it was a long five minutes.”

Brooklyn revealed that he would already be married to Nicola if the pandemic “wasn’t a thing.”
