Looks Like Priyanka Chopra's Recent Joke About 'Expecting' Wasn't Actually a Joke!

Just a few months before welcoming their first child together, Priyanka Chopra made a joke about “expecting” with husband Nick Jonas and now we know she wasn’t actually joking!

The moment happened during the Jonas Brothers Family Roast, which was released on Netflix in November. The special, which was filmed at the end of October 2021, featured friends and family members roasting Nick, Joe, and Kevin.

During Priyanka‘s portion of the roast, she commented on how she and Nick are the only ones without kids.

She said, “If you don’t know, we are the only couple who doesn’t have kids yet. Which is why I’m excited to make this announcement. Sorry babe. Nick and I are expecting… to get drunk tonight and to sleep in tomorrow!!”

The camera panned to Nick and showed him looking nervous about what Priyanka was saying. Now we know that he probably was nervous that she was going to actually spill the news!

The couple took to Instagram on Friday (January 21) to announce the arrival of their first child, who was born via surrogate.
