Mandy Moore Picks Olivia Rodrigo To Star in 'A Walk To Remember' Remake

Mandy Moore has some ideas about A Walk to Remember remake.

The 37-year-old actress, who starred in the 1999 film re-watched the film for the 20th anniversary, and opened up about why she’s okay with a remake of it.

“I would love to see it,” Mandy shared about a new version of the movie. “It’s been long enough that, yeah, I feel like we’ve earned our place in cinematic history for a reboot at this point.”

Mandy added that she feels that Olivia Rodrigo would be perfect for her own role as Jamie Sullivan, too.

If you’re unfamiliar, A Walk to Remember follows jaded and aimless high school senior Landon Carter who unexpectedly falls in love with the girl he once made fun of, Jamie.

Just last year, Shane West opened up about having a crush on Mandy while they filmed the movie.
