Six Series Regulars Will Return for 'Criminal Minds' Revival on Paramount+, Two Stars Aren't Coming Back

Daniel Henney – NOT RETURNING

Daniel Henney was a guest star in seasons 10 and 12 before becoming a series regular in season 13 as Special Operations Agent Matt Simmons. He is currently on the Amazon series The Wheel of Time and is unable to reprise his role because of his commitment to the show.

Deadline‘s report makes it seem that he is open to returning as a guest star, though that will depend on his filming schedule.
