The 42-year-old Pitch Perfect actress hosted the 2022 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (March 13) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

During the hosting gig, Rebel made an announcement.

“Now I know there’s been a lot of speculation about who is going to be the next James Bond. And there may be some people in the audience hoping that it might be them,” she said, as the camera amusingly panned to different candidates in the crowd.

“Fellas, hold onto your martinis,” she declared, “this is a scoop. I’m proud to announce that the new James Bond will be…me. Oh my God, yes!”
