Amy Schumer Says Her Husband Chris Fischer's Autism Is His 'Superpower'

Amy Schumer is opening up about her husband, Chris Fischer.

The 40-year-old comedian made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (April 20).

During her appearance, Amy opened up about Chris‘ autism spectrum disorder is his “superpower.”

“All of his behavior is kind of excused now. If someone’s telling a long, boring story, he will straight up just walk away. He’ll just wander away, and I’m just still stuck there,” she amusingly explained.

“He’s like the greatest partner,” she continued, explaining that he was diagnosed just a few years ago.

“It’s really given us so many helpful tools, and him. I think it’s a good thing for people to check it out and get tested so you don’t spend your whole life feeling like you’re bad or wrong…my favorite people are on the spectrum.”

She also revealed how Leonardo DiCaprio reacted to hearing her joke about him at the 2022 Academy Awards back in late March.
