Marilyn Manson Is Trending Amid Comparisons to Johnny Depp Case as He Sues Ex Evan Rachel Wood
Marilyn Manson is currently trending on Twitter while people compare the musician to Johnny Depp.
Manson is suing his ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood for defamation after she accused him of sexual abuse during their relationship. He filed the lawsuit back in March, but it has not yet gone to trial.
Depp just won his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, who had written about being a domestic abuse victim in a Washington Post op-ed, even though she never actually named Johnny in the article.
A Twitter thread written by user @k4mil1aa went viral on Friday and it led to people debating the case. She wrote, “🧵 THREAD. Let us try not to compare the Marilyn Manson case with Johnny please. It is strikingly obvious Heard was a liar and there was proof of HER abuse against HIM. In Mansons case we have an ABUNDANCE of evidence against him. PROOF he was the abuser. Amber and Evan are NOT THE SAME.
