Elon Musk's Dad Seems to Criticize His Weight During Radio Interview

During his interview with Kyle and Jackie O radio show in Australia, Errol was asked if he’s proud of his son.

“Your offspring is a genius. He’s worth so much money and has created so many things, you can’t take that away from him. Are you proud?” presenter Jackie O asked.

“You know, we are a family that have (sic) been doing a lot of things for a long time. It’s not as if we suddenly started doing something,” Errol responded.

He also added, “He is frustrated with progress and it’s understandable,” the father said. “I know it sounds crazy, but we tend to think like that as a family. He’s 50 now and I still think of him as a little boy. But he’s 50, I mean that’s an old man.”

He then described Elon‘s brother Kimbal as his “pride and joy.”

He was then asked about the photos of Elon vacationing in Greece.

“Elon is very strongly built but he’s been eating badly,” Errol said, appearing to criticize his son’s weight.

He then recommended a specific supplement, garcinia cambogia, and added, “It helps a lot to bring your weight down.”
