Elisabeth Moss to Star in Thriller Series 'The Veil' from FX/Hulu

Elisabeth Moss is taking on a new role.

According to THR, the 40-year-old actress is set to star in the upcoming FX/Hulu thriller The Veil. The series comes from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

The Veil will center on the relationship between two women. According to the show’s logline, the pair “play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost.”

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be telling this story, which is truly international and very contemporary,” Steven said in a statement. “We have gathered together some of the most talented people in the business. Working with [executive producer] Denise Di Novi is always a pleasure, and I’ve wanted to work with Elisabeth Moss for a long time. Of course, FX and I are old friends. I think this will be a landmark television event.”

Elisabeth is set to appear in the fifth season of The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu, which will premiere September 14. You can check out the latest trailer here.
