Nicki Minaj Announces New Single Name After Needing to Legally Change Its Title

Nicki Minaj has landed on a title!

The 39-year-old “Anaconda” rap superstar revealed that her new single finally has a (legal) official title, after she announced that she could not use its previous title for legal reasons.

As a result, she asked her fans – the Barbs – to vote on an alternative title to use for the upcoming release, which arrives later this month.

The already viral song is based around Rick James‘ 1981 hit, “Super Freak.”
