Palace Releases Rare Statement Amid Claims That Prince Harry Found Out About Queen's Death 5 Minutes Before Announcement

A report emerged over the weekend suggesting that Prince Harry only learned of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth‘s death five minutes before the announcement was made to the public.

The Queen passed away on Thursday (September 8) at the age of 96. Prince Harry happened to be in the UK when news broke that the Queen was not doing well, and like the rest of the royal family, immediately went to Balmoral Castle to be with her.

According to a new report, Prince Harry only found out that the Queen had died just five minutes before the announcement was made publicly.
