Patti LuPone Has Given Up Her Equity Card, Seemingly Quits Broadway Amid Lillias White Headlines

Patti tweeted, “Quite a week on Broadway, seeing my name being bandied about. Gave up my Equity card; no longer part of that circus. Figure it out.” All Broadway performs are part of Equity aka the Actors’ Equity Association.

Patti most recently appeared on Broadway in the revival of Company, which closed in July 2022. She received a Tony Award for her work in the production.
