Richard Steigman, a lawyer for Anthony, urged jurors to make Kevin pay for trying to make a sexual advance on Anthony in Kevin‘s Manhattan apartment in 1986 after a party. He also accused Kevin of lying on the witness stand.

Jennifer Keller, a lawyer for Kevin, told jurors that Anthony made up the encounter and said they should reject the claims.

The jury of five men and six women deliberated for just under 90 minutes on Thursday afternoon (October 20).

“I’m very grateful to the jury for seeing through these false allegations,” Kevin‘s attorney Jennifer Keller said via NBC News.

Richard Steigman, Anthony‘s lawyer, said in a statement: “Anthony told his truth in court. While we respect the jury’s verdict, nothing changes that.”

Anthony‘s lawsuit sought $40 million in damages.

Kevin Spacey had won partial dismissal against Anthony Rapp’s claims earlier in the week as well. Find out what happened.
