It's Been a Huge Week for Chris Evans & Alba Baptista for Many Different Reasons

It was finally confirmed this week that Chris Evans and Alba Baptista are dating and they’ve been together longer than most people realize.

Sources revealed that the 41-year-old Captain America actor and the 25-year-old Portuguese actress have been together for “over a year.”

The dating confirmation comes just a week after fans figured out that Chris and Alba spent Halloween together and then he fueled more rumors with his action on Instagram.

So, why is this a big week for the couple for many different reasons?

1. For the obvious, it was finally confirmed that Chris and Alba are a couple!
   As noted above, the couple has been together for over a year, though we don’t know much else about their love story at this point.
2. Chris was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2022!
   “It’s something that as I become old and saggy I can look back on and say ‘I remember then…’” Chris said about the title. “I’m lucky to be in the discussion in any capacity.”
3. The second season of Alba’s Netflix series Warrior Nun was released!
   Season two of the Netflix show dropped on November 10. Eight new episodes are finally streaming, over two years after the release of the first season.
4. Chris revealed the first official look at his upcoming Christmas movie Red One
   The Prime Video movie is currently filming and he stars alongside Dwayne Johnson. He captioned the Instagram post, “We’re already having WAY too much fun on this one. (I can’t believe I’m finally doing a Christmas movie!)”
5. Alba’s recent movie Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris was released in Portugal this week
   The well-received film, which has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, was released in the U.S. over the summer. You can rent it wherever you get your movies!
6. The couple was spotted together in public for the first time!
   Chris and Alba were spotted holding hands on Thursday (November 10) while going for a stroll around Central Park in New York City. They tried to keep a low profile by wearing sunglasses and face masks. You can see pics on Page Six.
