In the winter finale of SVU, we learned that Rollins is leaving her job to become a teacher at Fordham University.
Rollins’ final episode also featured her getting married to Carisi, played by Peter Scanavino.
When Rollins told Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) about her decision to take a new job, it didn’t go over well. They later make amends and Rollins promised to stay friends with Benson and not disappear the way Stabler did.
In their final moments together, Benson told Rollins, “Don’t postpone joy.” While leaving the office for the final time, Rollins got a round of applause from the team.
