Noah Centineo Reveals Roles He Auditioned For, But Didn't Get

Noah Centineo is opening up about the roles he has auditioned for, but didn’t book.

The 26-year-old actor has been in the business for more than a decade, but it wasn’t always easy for him to get roles.

Noah had his big break in the Freeform series The Fosters in 2015 and then he gained mainstream heartthrob status when he starred in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise in 2018.

In a new interview, Noah talked about handling rejection and he revealed some of the roles he didn’t get, plus the actors who got them.

“It’s not really a real, I don’t really take it as rejection. I think that’s the wrong way to think about it. I think the right way to think about it is I’m auditioning for a role. I’m bringing everything I possibly can to it. If they’re not okay with that, that’s fine,” Noah said on SiriusXM’s Pop Culture Spotlight with Jessica Shaw. “You know, and some people go, ‘oh, I’m bad. I’m not good.’ And, and you know what, maybe like some people maybe, but like for other people, you just gotta trust yourself. You gotta believe in yourself. You know, and you gotta go, ‘I’m just not right for that role.’ And that’s okay.”
