'Lilo & Stitch' Live Actions Casts Zach Galifianakis In Mystery Role

The first actor for the upcoming Lilo & Stitch live action retelling has been cast!

Zach Galifianakis is set to star in the upcoming movie, which is a remake of the 2002 animated version, according to THR.

The outlet says that there are no details about Zach‘s role in the film, however, the part very well could be one of the many aliens that appeared in the original.

Dean Fleischer Camp will direct the live-action version.

The fan-favorite movie centers on “the friendship formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and an alien named Stitch, who is engineered to be a force of destruction.”

You can currently stream Lilo & Stitch, as well as Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, Stitch! The Movie, Leroy & Stitch and Lilo & Stitch: The Series on Disney+.
