Cardi B Reveals the 'Best Thing' to Happen to Her, & It's Not What You Might Think

Cardi B is feeling grateful.

The 30-year-old “WAP” rapper hopped on social media this weekend to reveal what she considered to be the “best thing” that happened to her, and it likely isn’t what you’d think a celebrity would be grateful for.

She even added that the event was comparable to a “spiritual experience.”

Cardi explained on Saturday (February 25) how completing community service has changed her perspective.

“Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me,” she wrote on Twitter. “Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears .Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever.”

The hitmaker has to complete 15 days of court-mandated community service stemming from a case about an argument she was involved in while attending a strip club in 2018. She appeared in court earlier this year after she failed to start the service by a previously agreed-upon time.

Despite the slow start, Cardi has shared multiple photos of herself on the way to her service work this week.

She’s paired selfies with words of advice, including “obey the law,” “DONT COMMIT CRIMES” and “YOU DO THE CRIME YOU DO THE TIME.”

In one of the tweets, Cardi also teased that she was heading to the studio, implying that she’s working on her long-awaited sophomore album.

She spoke about a release date for the project a couple of weeks ago.
