Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth teamed up on the hit song “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which was released in May of 2016, sparking romance rumors after performing it live and appearing in each other’s Snapchat videos.

Selena was newly single after splitting from Justin Bieber, who was starting to date Hailey Bieber at the time.

“she’s just my friend guys lol relax,” he tweeted at the time.
