'Indiana Jones 5' Releases New Trailer Tinkering With Time

Harrison Ford is back as Indiana Jones and returns to form in the newly released trailer!

“I’m retiring,” Indiana Jones says at the beginning of the trailer.

But in another flashback scene, Indiana Jones looks very young.

Director James Mangold previously revealed the film begins in 1944 with a “blast of classic Indy action, me doing my very best version of Steven [Spielberg], and Harrison doing his best version of being under 40,” he told EW.

Harrison Ford reprises his role as the legendary hero archaeologist in the highly anticipated fifth and final installment of the iconic Indiana Jones franchise.

Indiana’s goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) says, “Dad told me you found something……on a train during the war. A dial that could change the course of history.”

“Why are you chasing the thing that drove your father crazy?” Indiana asks his goddaughter.

John Williams scored every movie since the original “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, and is once again composing the score with the iconic music resonating loudly in the new trailer.

“But I’ve been looking for this……all my life,” Indiana says of the Dial of Destiny.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 18.
