When Did Taylor Swift & Joe Alwyn Break Up? Swifties Think They Pinpointed the Date Based on a Setlist Change

Swifties think that they might have been able to pinpoint when Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up.

Over the weekend, it was revealed that the 33-year-old “All Too Well” hitmaker and 32-year-old actor had split after six years of dating. A source spoke out, revealing that it happened “recently.”

Some of her fans think they might have determined the date based on a change to her setlist on the Eras Tour.

Taylor has previously warned fans to expect the unexpected in regards to the setlist for her tour. She does switch things up from time to time.

However, People noted that she swapped out her Folklore song “Invisible String” for “The 1″ on March 31. While the former is a love song, the latter is about lost love.

It wasn’t a one-time change, either. Taylor has continued to play “The 1″ on tour since. If the song swap was in regards to her split, then it would make sense that it happened sometime between March 25, when she played her last show, and March 31, the day of the change.

Taylor also had her best friend Selena Gomez in the audience on April 1. If the timeline is correct, it would make sense that she was there to lend some emotional support.

If you weren’t aware, Taylor and Joe co-wrote several songs on Folklore, marking their first musical collaboration. The singer has also released several songs that fans think address their relationship.
