Martha Stewart Becomes Oldest Model To Grace Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover

Martha Stewart is making history!

The 81-year-old lifestyle maven was revealed as one of the four celebrities on the 2023 cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue!

Martha appeared on Today to show off her cover and open up about the experience, which she says was a “challenge.”

“To be on the cover at my age was a challenge, and I think I met the challenge,” she shared on the program.

Martha went on, saying that it was “odd to go to an island and get changed into nine different bathing suits in one day in front of all those people.”

Many fans might not know that before Martha was the lifestyle guru she is now, she was a model, and got her start at the age of 15. She appeared in national campaigns for brands like Chanel.

“[Modeling] put me through college and paid for everything,” she shared on Today. “I went from 50 cents an hour babysitting to 50 dollars an hour posing. It was great.”

Martha‘s co-cover models are Megan Fox, Brooks Nadar and Kim Petras.

Just recently, Martha opened up about her secrets to looking good at 81.
