Kimiko Glenn Reveals How Much She Receives from 'Orange Is the New Black' Royalties Amid SAG-AFTRA Strike

Kimiko Glenn is speaking out amid the SAG-AFTRA strike.

In a video posted to TikTok on Friday (July 14), the 34-year-old Orange Is the New Black revealed how much she makes off royalties for the Netflix series.

In the clip, Kimiko can be heard joking, “Oh god I’m about to be so rich.” She then pans down to the bottom of the page to reveal she’s only been paid $27.30 and shouts, “What!”

“Why #sagaftra is striking,” she wrote in the caption.

Kimiko starred as Brook Soso on OITNB from 2014-2019 and appeared in 44 episodes of the show.

SAG-AFTRA announced its plans to go on strike on Thursday amid stalled negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Union president Fran Drescher then called out the “greedy” AMPTP in an impassioned speech.
