Miranda Lambert Stops Concert After She Sees Fans Taking Selfies During Ballad: 'It's Pissing Me Off'

Miranda Lambert caused quite a stir at her latest concert in Las Vegas.

In a contrast to fans throwing things at the artist, the 39-year-old country star apparently stopped her concert altogether when she spotted fans taking selfies instead of paying attention to her.

In a report from NY Post, via a TikTok video, Miranda was performing “Tin Man” and just a few lyrics in when she noticed a group of fans taking pictures of themselves instead of listening to the song she was singing.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry,” Miranda says. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.”

She then added that it’s “pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

Following her brief stoppage of the concert, some fans actually got up a left after Miranda shamed the ones who were taking selfies together.

“Let’s go — you don’t do that to fans,” you can hear one woman say in the video.

Many fans weighed in on the moment, with some calling Miranda out, and others defending her actions.

“But maybe they were taking the selfies or videos to remember the occasion. I think she was out of line,” one wrote in the TikTok comments.

Then another argued, “There’s all the time in the world to partake in those activities during her rowdier, more up-tempo numbers but during her sacred ballads just shut up and listen. Not exactly asking for much when there’s very few on her setlist.”
