Kanoa Goo Calls Working With Taylor Cole on His First Hallmark Channel Movie 'A Gift From The Universe' (Exclusive)

Kanoa called it a “gift from the universe” that he was paired up with Taylor for Aloha Heart.

“She is one of the kindest, most loving people and actresses I’ve ever worked with, and made me feel completely at ease,” he told us. “We actually became really close friends right away, and we just approach working in a similar way. So I really looked forward to working with her day after day.”

Kanoa also tried to explain the unique laugh that Taylor has, calling it “a really infectious, hilarious laugh.”

“It’s kind of like a cackle that…it’s just very funny,” he added (Taylor also confirmed the cackle in a separate interview). “She would end up laughing on set, and I would actually hear it from afar, and then try to mimic it. That would make her do it even more because she knew I was making fun of her. It was great.”

As far as Aloha Heart being his first Hallmark Channel movie, Kanoa says he was very “excited. I mean, there’s always gonna be a little bit of nerves going into any job because there’s an element of unknown, right? I didn’t know too many people involved in the project going into it. So of course, you just wanna hope for the best that everyone gels and, and gets along and has a similar perspective and mindset over creating together, you know?”

“Thankfully that was the case,” he continued, saying that on top of Taylor, their director and producer “were really kind and had a lot of confidence in me from day one. That made me feel good and at ease launching into the process.”
