Sinead O'Connor Dead at 56

Sinead O’Connor has tragically passed away at the age of 56, according to the New York Post.

No information has been released at this time of the cause of death of the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer. She has released 10 popular studio albums.

Last year in 2022, Sinead mourned the death of her son Shane at the age of 17. At the time, she wrote, “My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the very light of my life, decided to end his earthly struggle today and is now with God. May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My baby. I love you so much. Please be at peace.”

Earlier this month, she posted on Facebook, “Hi All, recently moved back to London after 23 years absence. Very happy to be home : ) Soon finishing my album. Release early next year : ) Hopefully Touring Australia and New Zealand toward end 2024. Europe, USA and other territories beginning early 2025 :)”

She was also famously banned from SNL.

She is survived by three other children.
