Corbin Bleu & Constance Wu to Star in 'Little Shop of Horrors' in New York City!

Corbin Bleu and Constance Wu are taking on a beloved off-Broadway show!

The 34-year-old High School Musical alum and the 41-year-old Crazy Rich Asians star are set to star as Seymour and Audrey respectively in Little Shop of Horrors at the Westside Theatre in New York City, the two confirmed Monday (August 28).

Their turns in the musical will begin on September 26.

Constance says the show is her “#1 favorite musical since I first saw a community production growing up in Richmond, Virginia.”

“The music is so wonderful & I love Audrey. I relate to her scrappiness and finding beauty in the simple things,” she continued.

“I am so excited to be in this production, singing and performing alongside the brilliant Corbin Bleu, and enjoying the thrill of live & alive theater with the audience,” she went on to say, via People.

Corbin says he’s “been a fan of Little Shop since childhood,” when he watched the 1986 film.

“I am really looking forward to performing with Constance and finding our Seymour & Audrey dynamic. We both love and crave live theater–our mutual excitement is kinetic.”
