Meg Ryan's 'What Happens Later' Shifts Release Date to Avoid Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' Concert Film

Taylor Swift‘s record-breaking Eras Tour concert film seems to have caused another shift in the release schedule for a forthcoming movie – Meg Ryan‘s What Happens Later.

The trailer for Meg‘s new movie, her first movie since 2015 and first rom-com in even longer, was scheduled to arrive on October 13. We got a first taste earlier this week with the unveiling of the film’s trailer.

However, fans will have to wait a few weeks longer to see Meg in action again. Following news that Taylor‘s movie had broken a single-day presale record held by a Marvel movie, What Happens Later is shifting its release date.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will now hit theaters on November 3.

This isn’t the first movie that has moved a release date since Taylor‘s movie was announced. The Exorcist: Believer will now hit theaters on October 6 instead of on its originally planned October 13 release date.

With all the buzz, you might be wondering if the Eras Tour film will be eligible for an Oscar. We have some news on that…
