Spanish Actor Gabriel Guevara Arrested at Venice Film Festival

Gabriel Guevara has been arrested.

The Spanish actor and star of Prime Video’s My Fault was taken into custody by Italian State Police in Venice on Saturday (September 2), a day before he was slated to receive an award for best young actor from Filming Italy.

Prior to Saturday, Gabriel was subject to an international arrest warrant stemming from allegations of sexual assault in France.

Upon hearing the news of Gabriel‘s arrest, organizers of Filming Italy Best Movie Award initiative told the local news outlet Ansa that they had “suspended any recognition as a precaution, waiting for the nature of the facts concerning [Gabriel] to be ascertained and with complete confidence that justice will take its course,” Deadline reports.
