Celebrities Speak Out About Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis & Others Who Wrote Danny Masterson Court Letters

Several celebrities are speaking out and voicing opinions on the court letters written for Danny Masterson.

The 47-year-old That ’70s Show actor was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Thursday (September 7). He was convicted on two counts of forcible rape earlier this year.

If you don’t know, some names that wrote letters to the court include his That ’70s Show co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, as well as Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, his brother-in-law William Baldwin, and his wife Bijou Phillips. The letters were intended to be statements about his character that were submitted to the judge for Masterson‘s sentencing.

“As a friend, Danny has been nothing but a positive influence on me,” Ashton wrote in his letter. “He’s taught me about being direct and confronting issues in life and relationships head-on, resolving them, and moving forward.”

Elsewhere, he referred to him as “a role model” and an “excellent one” at that.

Mila called Danny a “dear friend.” She wrote about the “remarkable influence” he had on her life.

“I first met Danny during our time working together on That 70′s Show, and from the very beginning, I could sense his innate goodness and genuine nature. Throughout our time together, Danny has proven to be an amazing friend, confidant, and, above all, an outstanding older brother figure to me,” she continued.

Now, several celebrities are speaking out with their thoughts on these letters, as they’ve gone viral on social media. Ashton and Mila even addressed the backlash.
