Bad Bunny Reveals How He Really Felt About Losing Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammys

Bad Bunny is opening up about losing the Album of the Year category at the 2023 Grammys.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, the 29-year-old musician revealed how he really feels about Harry Styles winning the award for Harry’s House, despite many Bad Bunny fans expecting it to go to Un Verano Sin Ti.

Bad Bunny‘s immensely popular album was the first-ever Spanish-language album nominated for Album of the Year.

He revealed to Vanity Fair that he actually felt somewhat relieved after losing. “It wasn’t because I didn’t feel I was deserving or because I thought I couldn’t win,” Bad Bunny explained. “It was because I don’t really want to hear myself. I know I was going to get emotional. It would have been powerful and hard, dealing with that pride.”

The singer and rapper added, “Maybe they weren’t ready for a Spanish-language album to win the big prize… I didn’t even feel like [album of the year] had been stolen from me until the media started saying [it] and I saw that everybody thought I deserved the prize and everybody thought it was a robbery…. That’s when they kind of convinced me and I said, ‘Well, yes, it was a robbery then.’”

He only had kind things to say about Harry, calling the Love on Tour Los Angeles concert “brutal” and “killer.”

Outside of music, Bad Bunny has been enjoying lots of quality time with his girlfriend, Kendall Jenner. They were recently spotted out and about in New York City.
