Nicki Minaj's Husband Placed on House Arrest After Threatening Rapper Offset

Nicki Minaj‘s husband Kenneth Petty won’t be leaving his home any time soon after he was placed under house arrest.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sentence was delivered to him after he publicly sent threats to rapper Offset, who is married to Cardi B, on X (formerly Twitter).

The outlet reports that Kenneth had shared video clips online just a few days ago on September 16 where he is seen with some of his friends outside a New York City, where Offset was presumably staying.

In one clip, he is overheard saying to “Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral pussy!”

Offset doesn’t seem to be that threatened by the videos though, as he responded in one, “I’m getting off a jet, he’s funny.”

The court order, which was filed on Wednesday (September 20) in California, Kenneth is ordered to house arrest after he “was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”

Previously, Kenneth was convicted over failing to register as a sex offender in 2021, and in 2022, was sentenced to probation over it.

Nicki and Cardi, the wives of the two at the center, had a very publicized feud a couple of years ago.
