Joe Jonas Steps Out in Rainy New York City Amid Divorce & Custody Battle

Joe Jonas braves the rain as he heads out for lunch with fashion designer Richard Chai.

The 34-year-old Jonas Brothers singer was spotted having juice with Richard, 49, in New York City on Tuesday (September 26).

On a cloudy and rainy afternoon, Joe wore a casual t-shirt, pants, and jacket combo and maintained a pensive expression as he stepped out with his friend.

The sighting comes weeks after Joe filed for divorce from Sophie Turner. The estranged pair have been locked in a tense battle that involves a dispute over custody of their two children.

It was announced on Monday (September 25) that Joe and Sophie have agreed to keep their two young children in New York City for now amid her attempt to bring them to England.

Just yesterday, Joe was seen spending time with his brother Nick in between the Jonas Brothers’ tour dates.
