Terms of Kanye’s original deal with Adidas were revealed

Kanye went to Adidas after he couldn’t reach a deal with Nike that he liked as the company didn’t want to give him a cut of shoe sales and didn’t want to share creative control.

The deal with Adidas allowed Kanye to be the co-creator of shoe and clothing lines and he would earn a 15 percent royalty on net sales. His guarantee for each year would be $3 million.
