Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper have an emotional moment together in the new trailer for Serena released on Wednesday (October 29).

Serena focuses on depression-era North Carolina and the future of George Pemberton’s (Cooper) timber empire when complications arise after he learns his wife, Serena (Lawrence), cannot bear children.
