Kate Hudson Says Her Lifestyle Book Isn't Just for the Wealthy
Kate Hudson steps out of a spa after getting in a day of relaxation on Tuesday (March 15) in Los Angeles.
Later that evening, the 36-year-old actress grabbed dinner at Craig’s and was seen driving away from the popular restaurant.
Kate recently explained why she wrote her new wellness book “Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body,” and responded to some criticism regarding wealthy celebrities giving average people advice on how to live.
“I feel that it is an accessible dialogue that everybody can be part of…I want it [the book] to feel accessible and real. I didn’t want it to feel unattainable,” Kate explained to The Independent.
“We all have the outdoors available to us,” Kate said about not having to be rich to maintain a healthy lifestyle. “How do you motivate people who don’t necessarily have the means to do what a lot of people do when they have help, and trainers, and they can eat organically all the time and they can afford a certain kind of lifestyle that other people can’t?. And I don’t think that’s fair. I think everybody should be able to afford a healthy lifestyle so it’s trying to figure out an approach to that. It’s little things you can do, we all have the outdoors available to us…and if you have children we’ve got to take our kids to the park and we’ve got to take them for a walk.”
