John Mayer Granted Restraining Order Against Obsessed Fan

John Mayer has been granted a restraining order against a fan.

Back in March, the 41-year-old entertainer and members of his team allegedly started to be terrorized by Ryan Jeremy Knight, according to court documents via E! News.

John claims that Knight first started stalking and harassing him before the situation got more intense and Knight started making violent threats to John and his team on social media.

In one threat, Knight told John that he’s “put many a jew in the hospital” before referring famed murderers like Ted Bundy and Mark David Chapman – who murdered John Lennon.

Back on June 28, Knight showed up at John‘s concert in North Carolina, but was escorted out of the venue by security.

According to the documents, the death threats have caused John to “suffer substantial emotional duress.”

Ryan Jeremy Knight has now been ordered to stay at least 100 feet away from John Mayer and his house. A court hearing has also scheduled for August 27 to determine if the protection order should be made permanent.
