Josh Gad Says Working With Hugh Laurie in 'Avenue 5' Was A 'Pain In The Ass'!

Josh Gad paid a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night (January 16) and revealed the truth about what it’s like to work with Hugh Laurie.

The 38-year-old Frozen actor and Hugh are starring in the new HBO series Avenue Five together. It follows space captain Ryan Clark (Hugh) of the Avenue 5 as he tries to get along with others in the space tourism industry.

“Hugh Laurie is a pain in the ass. It’s an act. Here’s why he’s a pain in the ass: He is the perfect specimen of a human being, he really is,” Josh expressed. “He rides into work on a motorcycle, the guy from House. He looks like he’s built the motorcycle himself. You hear him playing music and like recording an album for the masses, it’s very strange.”

“It’s sort of Lord of the Flies by way of Gilligan’s Island. Are you excited yet?,” Josh said of his new show Avenue 5, which is set to premiere on HBO this Sunday!
