Billie Eilish Reveals She Was So Nervous to Host 'SNL' She 'Cried Every Single Day' Before the Show

Even seasoned professionals like Billie Eilish still get nervous!

During an interview with Howard Stern for his SiriusXM show, the the 19-year-old performer revealed that she was so scared to host Saturday Night Live for the first time that she “cried every single day of the week” leading up to the show.

“Preparing for SNL was f—ing nuts, dude. It was literally alien,” Billie shared, adding that it was intimidating to be working with so many talented actors.

“I threw up on a plane coming here. I had crazy s—s when I got here like you wouldn’t believe… you know, ones where you have to get fully naked on the toilet,” she continued.

But Billie went on to say that once she got on stage for the live dress rehearsal, the anxiety started to melt away.

“As soon as I saw the crowd and felt their joy, it was like I wasn’t nervous. It was relieving,” she said. “I was like, ‘Oh, this is actually really incredible, and I don’t have to worry. This is just for fun.’”
