Brie Larson Joins Cast of 'Fast & Furious 10'

Brie Larson is joining the Fast & Furious franchise!

On Saturday (April 9), the star of the movie franchise, Vin Diesel, took to social media to announce that the 32-year-old Oscar-winning actress has joined the cast of the upcoming Fast & Furious 10.

“Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ‘that’s captain Marvel’. Clearly there is love and laughter in this image,” Vin wrote on Instagram along with selfie of he and Brie laughing.

“What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10,” Vin continued. “You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.”

Brie‘s casting in Fast & Furious 10 comes a few months after it was announced that this Game of Thrones alum had also joined the cast.

Fast & Furious 10 is said to start shooting this spring, with a current target theater release date of May 19, 2023.
