Todd & Julie Chrisley Both Sentenced to Many Years in Prison for Bank Fraud
The stars of Chrisley Knows Best are going to prison for many years.
Back in June 2022, Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie were found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud.
Todd and Julie were accused of creating false documents to secure $30 million in bank loans in order to foot the bill for their expensive lifestyles. They then filed for bankruptcy to avoid paying the more than $20 million they owed. Prosecutors said the couple intentionally “swindled” smaller banks to rack up the $30 million bill between 2007 and 2012, which was just a couple of years before their reality show debuted on USA.
The couple has been on house arrest since June while awaiting their sentencing, which was announced on Monday (November 21).
