The 2015 Super Bowl was quite an exciting match up yesterday and the early ratings for the big game are just coming in.

According to NBC Sports PR’s Twitter account, the 2015 Super Bowl hit the highest rating in the history of the event with a 49.7 overnight household rating.

This rating is up four percent from last year’s game and three percent from 2013′s game. The final numbers aren’t released until later today, but it’s looking like this game broke all sorts of ratings records.

If you missed the game, the Patriots defeated the Seahawks in a thrilling 28-24 victory.

The two ladies took the photo to send to Taylor Swift, who idolizes their respective television characters – Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy.

As you probably know, Taylor named her cats after the two characters!

The 30-year-old singer was also pictured with her halftime show collaborator Missy Elliott, who shared the cute photo on her Twitter account.

Arnold Schwarzenegger gets into character as his famous role The Terminator while making a special appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘s Super Bowl episode on Sunday (February 1) in Phoenix, Ariz.

The 67-year-old actor stepped out just before a commercial break to say “we’ll be back” to a thunderous applause from the audience.

During the game, a commercial for Arnold‘s upcoming movie Terminator: Genisys was aired and it looks like it’s going to be super awesome.

If you were wondering what was under one of those shark costumes in Katy Perry‘s 2015 Super Bowl halftime performance — it was a really, really hot guy!

One of the dancing sharks was Scott Myrick who looks great out of costume and especially shirtless!

“BREAK THE SUPER BOWL,” Scott captioned a picture of himself from the show.

Scott has been one of Katy‘s backup dancers for years — he was even in her 2012 documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me and on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with her.

He was also one of Taylor Swift‘s backup dancers during the Red tour, but eventually left to tour with Katy again.

The 34-year-old supermodel snapped photos with fans and looked happy as can be while enjoying the victory.

Gisele was there to support her husband Tom Brady, the quarterback of the Patriots and the winner of the MVP title.

“We are so proud of you daddy!!! Congratulations!!!! ‪#‎gopats‬ ‪#‎superbowl‬ ‪#‎sb49‬,” Gisele wrote on her Facebook account.

Later that night, the 26-year-old singer was all smiles as she left the stadium and hopped a barricade to get to her waiting car.
